After huge tracts of animal pasture were handed over to mining companies within Inner Mongolia, official's stumbled upon the bizarre method to preserve the region's agricultural past. From afar, the Horgin grassland continues to represent the centuries-old scene of farm animals grazing happily in fields. But closer inspection reveals that the animals are in fact merely sculptures made by local artists.
